G4 Series Users - Question for you

Some of you may have noticed my previous post - http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1149061

I was told by HP tech support that it's normal for my server to beep twice right before boot up. These beeps are telling me POST is over and my system is booting. This tech said this is only normal for G4 servers.

So I am wondering if any other users with G4 servers get these 2 beeps? This just doesn't seem right to me.

Hi Pete,

I am not at work at the minute, and I probably don't pay as much attention to this as I should, but I think this also happens on our G3 and G5 servers at the same point you mention.
