G7 DL165 board won't powerup
Hi there,
I have a DL165 G7 board laying here and thougt it would be nice to build something out of it.
I'm trying to power it up with only 1 processor and 1 bank of memory on a CORSAIR 750 Platinum power supply.
So nothing else connected to the board...
It turns on for 1 sec and turns off immediately.
On the board internaly: BMC led is flashing and the leds CR3, CR6, CR8 are green.
Can it be some fan protection? because I do not have any fan connected to the board? (cooler runs on molex connection)
Thanks!

Re: G7 DL165 board won't powerup
Hi,
It could be any thing from power supply, processor, fan and also System Board.
Is the processor compatible with system board and is the system board itself is good?
Thank You!
I am a HP employee.
