GL380 CPUs inconsistent fixed MTRR settings
This server is running RHES 2.1 with 3GB RAM, 2CPUs. I'm seeing messages like : mtrr: no more MTRRs available. /proc/mtrr shows uncachable memory and on reboot this message scrolled by mtrr: your CPUs had inconsistent fixed MTRR settings mtrr: probably your BIOS does not setup all CPUs. BIOS settings doesn't tell me much other than it's in Advanced Memory Protection Mode: Advanced ECC Support. Could someone advise on this.
TIA

Re: GL380 CPUs inconsistent fixed MTRR settings
Hi,
seems to be hardware error, we can confirm it very easily by checking the iml log. For checking the same we need to have the survey utility installed on server. ten we can confirm the component failure on server.
Survey can be installed by opening following link.
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/16241.html
Secondly. the server seems to ve DL 380, what is the front panel led status. What is the processor speed.
Regards,
Prashant S.
