GL380 G2
When you install the RILO board the keyboard no longer works locally. It will work via the RILO board, it will work via a TS session but will not work from the server console.

Re: GL380 G2
Hi Lynda;
The keyboard will not work locally as long as you have a RILO session open on the server - this is a security feature.
If you are not accessing the server via the RILO, you should have keyboard access.
Make sure that you are not using the virtual power button connector to the systemboard AND the external y-cable. They will not work together.
On the new servers, all you need is the internal virtual power connector.
Hope that helps,
Janine

Re: GL380 G2
Thanks
As far as I am aware this is all configured correctly. Unfortunately the servers are remote so am I having to trust the response of the local IT support. There are currently no RILO sessions active.
