GTX 1080 SLI on DL 380 Gen9

Im working in a project trying to add 2 GTX cards on a DL380 Gen9. I was able to fit it withg customs cables but unable to use as SLI. Windows 10 recognizes as two separated cards instead of a single one. Any trick to enable SLI?

If I turn the SLI cables upside down on one of the ends, it will show the option as SLI disabled, if not, it shows 2 graphic cards.

I am curious as to why you are putting GTX 1080's inside a server case?

Research, thinking on replacing my gaming computer limited to 32GB ram to more, and I had the server sitting in my office for long.

But the question is... could SLI be enable?

I will try moving the GTX cards back to the gaming computer and use the same custom SLI cables to make sure the calbes arent a problem.
