Gets hardware malfunction.

Server gets hardware malfunction error intermitently ,and system hangs. Replaced Mother-board and memory but problem still persist .Eisa partion is missing. SP6a is installed . How to resolve the problem?

Run the Compaq system diagnose utility form diskettes.
See what is wrong and take acction as needed.

What are the error messages, if any?

Check ALL cables, inside ( near the onboard scsi controller ) are some power cables the come loose pretty easy..
( also see topics further on in this forum )

Upgrade to latest rom versions on all controllers..
