Ghost ML110 with RAID1 SATA :urgent help please!
How can I take an image or restore back to a RAID1 pair of SATA disks on an ML110 using the HP Embedded SATA RAID controller with Ghost?
Booting into DOS and using the DOS version of Ghost it just hangs when detecting the controller, or with the -ia switch hangs when starting to image.
I guess the controller isn't compatible with Ghost, great. Anyone know a workaround or other imaging software I can use?
Thanks

Re: Ghost ML110 with RAID1 SATA :urgent help please!
at the moment, not.
you have to restore your back-up to a new sata HD using a controller Ghost can detect.
after of that, make a new back-up using a software such as Acronis true image.
build your raid1.
restore your back-up using the Bootable Rescue Media.
take a look at this link:

Re: Ghost ML110 with RAID1 SATA :urgent help please!
Well I got it solved - winPE with ghost 11. When bartPE boots you get the F6 prompt for storage drivers, here you can load the HP embedded sata driver, or do as I did and install it on the PE cd.
You need to install either a PCI nic for network support or load the nic driver onto the PE cd, this worked fine at 1gb.
Then you can use Ghost32.exe to ghost under Windows, it worked perfectly from/to the raid1 array.
