HAL Recovery Option

Under NT there is a HAL recovery option that installs a single processor HAL and puts an entry in the boot.ini via CPQSUPSW setup.

Is there an equivalent HAL Recovery option available for Windows 2000?

As I remember it - Win2K is able to fall back on it's own... There is no need for such a utility in Win2K.
