HAL
The HAL that the server is currently using is the MPS Multiprocessor - is there any advantage to using the APIC HAL instead. Also is there a difference in setting the APIC mode from "Full Table" as it is now to "Full Table - Mapped"?

MPS multiprocessor and APIC HAL pretty much do the same thing UNLESS you are upgrading from a single proc to a dual which you arent..if it is working fine dont worry about it..
as for the apic mode yes...full table is the setting for multiprocessors..full table mapped is for single..
