HD support in ML350 G5

I am planning on purchasing an ML350 G5 server, and would like to know if the following HDD will be supported by it:
Maxtor 147GB/10K/v/u320/68p
I plan on taking the standard configuration with 2 72GB 3G SAS 15K hard drives.

The Maxtor you name is an Ultra 320 SCSI drive and the ML350 G5 has a Serial Attached SCSI controller. You would have to supply an Ultra 320 controller. I also think that the drive is a 3.5" drive, so you would have to mount it with an adapter in a 5.25" drive bay and it wouldn't be hot plug.

Is it possible to purchase this server with an additional U320 controller staight from HP, or do I have to supply the controller myself?

If you're ordering online from the HP web site, select a model that is marked 'configurable' and you can choose 'HP StorageWorks U320e SCSI Dual Channel Host Bus Adapter' under External Storage Controllers...
