HDD Physical Form Factor matter to Server
Dear,
I have a DL380 G7 Server that have only 2 LFF Bay.
I want to buy a Hard Disk Drive for Server, the HDD that i want to buy is 2*1.2TB 6G SAS SFF (2.5-inch).
my question: Is HDD Physical Form Factor (LFF or SFF) matter to Server Bay (LFF or SFF)?
because the HDD i want to buy is SFF (2.5) and the bay that i have is (LFF).
Thanks

Re: HDD Physical Form Factor matter to Server
If the server has LFF bay then the recommendation is to use supported LFF drive. HPE won't support if you use unsupported/Compatible drives and warranty may not cover if any issue later.
