HDD transfer speed

Hello,

I installed 4 Hitachi (HDT725025VLA380) SATA drives into my ML310e Gen8 v.2 server (724977-S01).

It has Smart Array B120i RAID controller. Though these drives are SATA-2, the controller says 'Transfer speed 1.5Gbps' when I select each indivudual drive. I suppose it has to be 3Gbps. Do you have any ideas why could it be?

It looks I have all fresh firmware.

Well, suppose they are faulty. I replaced them with another disks and now I can see proper transfer speed.
