HP 410 controller not seen by OS

We purchased a HP410 with 512 cache along with the drives. The BIOS configuration for the new drives went as expected and I configured at as RAID5. The OS found the device, but it is Unknown and therefore does not see the drives. Drivers are not posted on HP website so I am stuck. The system is running RH4.6. Please advise.

Lspci shows:

1f:00.0 RAID bus controller: Hewlett-Packard Company: Unknown device 323a (rev 01)

Have you installed drivers for the device?

Re: HP 410 controller not seen by OS

what version of the cciss driver is on your system? CCISS Version: 2.6.20-16 (A) was the first version to support the 410 controller.

The latest version of the cciss driver is here

I've been looking for the drivers. Thank you for pointing me to the right place.
