HP DL 360: RAID 1+0?

Being new to HP (previously was in a Dell shop), I am somewhat confused building this new DL 360. There are two physical drives in the system. However, when I cleared the config and created a new logical drive, the only RAID 1 option is RAID 1+0. The default logical drive from the factory was RAID 1+0 as well.

How is this possible with only two physical disks? How can you have RAID 1+0 without 4 drives? Any good RAID articles that will help explain this to me would be most appreciated.

Thanks, that document was exactly what I was looking for. I guess I just needed to get up to speed on the HP lingo. Without 4 disks, there won't be any striping (as I assumed), but I guess they just keep the RAID 1+0 term for simplicity sake.

Yep, that's funny how vendors create their own terminology.

E.g. in IBM DS4000 world there is only RAID1, not RAID1+0 - although when you have 4 (or more) HDDs in a single array it is 1+0 in fact.
