HP DL 580 G7 firmware issue
Hi All,
One our client i had updated the SPP in DL 580 G7 and its a Linux based server, when the update was deployed it was showing all success and rebooted. But by next they the server failed to communicate with the core switch directly. now there is a small 8 port switch is used for communication purpose. Is this impact is because of the Firmware update. Kindly clarify & solution.

Re: HP DL 580 G7 firmware issue
1. First please ensure that you have implemented the recommended G7 SPP and not the latest April 2019 SPP (Incompatible) on this G7 Server
2. It does sound to be a driver/firmware conflict which might have caused the issue that you are expereincing
3. Kindly rollback to older SPP or older versions of Driver/Firmware which was functional earlier
4. For any further support, kindly log a case using HPE Support Case Manager if the server is still under Active Support Contract/Warranty/Carepack and share the SOS Report along with Advanced Survey Report to isolate the issue further
