HP DL G6 / G8 - configuring

Hi, what ways can I connect to the above server types to do things like install OS, add management IP addresses etc? It's a server in a rack, would it be laptop at site (which port), remotely via telnet or GUI? Any info appreciated

If you are only accessing it for a short period you could either directly connect a keyboard, mouse, and monitor or you could configure your iLO so that you can remotely control the system.  I would suggest that you use the iLO configuration mode.
