HP DL160 Gen8-Doesnt detect Drives (B1i20 and P222)

Hi All

I really need help. I have a new HP DL160 Gen8. 

I have 4 HP 1TB SAS Drives

I also purchases an HP P222

I installed the HP P222 , made sure the cable from the HP P222 is connected and the on board cable is disconnected.

When the server starts up, it gets to the Array screen when i hit F5 but it cant find any drives, it also only makes refference to B120i

What am i doing wrong?

The B120i only supports SATA drives, the P222 supports both SATA and SAS

During POST, you should see both controllers display firmware messages. 

When you press F5 to launch HPSSA in the upper left there should be a dropdown where you can select which controller to work with, both the B120i and the P222 should be listed.

Select the P222, and create your array
