HP DL2000 Multinode Chassis and Windows Server 2012

Hello

We have 2 of DL2000 with DL170e G6 inside and we want to install windows server 2012 on them

Is there any SmartCD for this ? I try to install manually the OS but it can't find the storage controller drive . I assume that if i insert the 2008 r2 driver it will work but i want to go from the safe side

Also i try to update the Server with HP Service Pack for Proliand latest version but it says that it can't find any component.

Any help ?

The latest SPP was released in early September of this year. Its Release Notes can be found here:

The Release Notes document was last revised in 2012-09-24. On page 13, you'll find the list of supported operating systems. Unfortunately, Windows Server 2012 is not on the list yet.

As the final version of Server 2012 was released to manufacturing on August 1, I'd expect the HP driver development department to have started testing and certifying the drivers for the newest hardware first. Support for older hardware is probably lower priority: it may come later, or not.

At this time, it seems that only G7 and Gen8 servers are confirmed supported for Server 2012 (or maybe the "previous servers" link is just broken?)
