This server has 2 x 3.40Ghz processors.
CPU one is set to step 3 & CPU two is set to step 10.
Server seems to be running ok but I need to get the CPU's matched is this done via a bios update or can you manually set the CPU step from the bios config utility on this server.

The CPU stepping is not a setting which can be set... It is not possible. Only way is to find another CPU with stepping 10.

Processor stepping is a physical revision, unfortunately it cannot be change
