HP DL360 G6 + HP P2000G3 seismostability

Hello,

We are planning to use HP Proliant DL360 G6 + HP P2000G3 in one of our systems. This system will be installed in seismodangerous region.

Where I can find the information on seismostability of these systems?

What exactly are you asking? It seems to me that seismic protection would be in the rack itself and the datacenter floor and not the individual rack shelf components (servers, storage).

Servers and storages should be resistant to vibration caused by the earthquake. Am I wrong? For example standard NEBS (GR-64-CORE) defines the method of testing equipment for earthquake resistance. I do know that there are HP server models NEBS Certified, but they are a DC power supply. I need models with AC PSU.

I need links to the official information from vendor about what force earthquake (richter magnitude) stand equipment.

If you want DL360 G6 + P2000 G3 NEBS certified, the only solution is carrier grade equipment (DC power supply).
You need HP Seismic Rack AH343A, P2000 G3 carrier grade, and convert DL360 G6 to carrier grade according to manual

Thanks for the info.

Do I understand correctly that the standard servers HP(not certified NEBS)are not tested for earthquake resistance? That is not any other certification (not NEBS) passed HP servers and includes requirements for seismic resistance?
