HP DL360 G8 Power indicator/front UID indicator failure

My HP DL360 G8 server (10SFF model) has developed a strange issue where the front power button and front UID indicator/button are not working properly. The indicator LED for the power button is ok, but when pressed the button does not respond. I can start the server via the iLO web interface, but the physical button does not work. The UID button does not work, and when I activate the UID indicator from the iLO, the light is intermtted. The back UID button and indicator work as expected.

Re: HP DL360 G8 Power indicator/front UID indicator failure

Hi,

Please refer to the service guide of this server.
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c03242811

If possible check/reseat the power cables inside the server.
Also clear the NVRAM from the System maintenance switch, S6. Page# 79-80

If none of these works, you may need to contact HPE Support or a local reseller for repair.

Thanks
