HP DL360 Gen9 - Unable to launch HPSSA

Hello,

We have 2 new HP DL360 Gen9 to configure and with one of them it is impossible to launch the HP Smart Storage Administrator.

When the server boots up, I select F9, go to the RAID Controller menu and select 'Exit and launch HP Smart Storage Administrator (HPSSA)' but nothing happen.
The menu is frozen for a few seconds and the HPSSA doesn't start.

If I start the server and boot from the HP SPP, I can launch the HPSSA.

We have already swapped the smart array controller with the second server, we have forced the deployment of all the firmware but that doesn't solve the problem.

Can you tell me how I can correct this ?

Any error messages in ILO web page at diagnostics tab?

Does pressing F10 during boot help?

You could try to install IP version 2.40 again.

Hi, I have HP DL380 Gen9 running ILO4

I can't get HPSSA enabled either.  I accidentally disabled Intelligent Provisioning (IP) and I think that's why HPSSA won't launch from System Utilities -> System Configuration -> Embedded RAID 1: Smart Array Controller -> Exit and launch HP Smart Storage Admin (HPSSA) (greyed out) "This item is currently not available.  Press F1 to get more information about this item."

Booting shows F10 as "Disabled" and I can't find out how to re-enable it.

When I booted to F10 before, it automatically skipped to the utillity for deploying, and didn't give me a chance to select the HPSSA.  

If I can go straight to HPSSA, I won't need Intelligent Provisioning, but I can't find that workaround either.

We are not an HP shop, so I don't have all the utilities or tools or management stuff setup already--just this one box.

Offline SSA is part of Intelligent provisioning, to enable again do:

To re-enable Intelligent Provisioning:
1.
Reboot the server and, when prompted, press F9 to access the UEFI System Utilities.
2.
From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration?BIOS/Platform Configuration
(RBSU)?Server Security?Intelligent Provisioning (F10 Prompt) and press Enter.
3.
Select Enabled
