Hi Jim!

It's hardware-based feature of embedded SA6i RAID controller. Boot from SmartStart -> go to maintenance page, select ACU -> configure Array with n*2 HDD -> create Logical Drive with 0+1 level.

Both options are available to you.
Which is the operating system you have??

Windows 2000 all unix flavour will support software RAID1 or RAID0, win2k will support RAID 5 also. Buy purchasing Volume manager you can have RAID5 in unix also.

If you want to go for hardware based RAID, that is the best option, since all RAID activities will load your CPU if you are using software RAID.
