Much appreciated,

Re: HP DL380 G6 Server - Not Booting

If a cache module is installed, try to boot without this module.

Hope this helps!

Power off, disconnect power, pull the module.

Re: HP DL380 G6 Server - Not Booting

disconnect the disks (pos. 18+19).

If you still get the failure, you probably need a new system board.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: HP DL380 G6 Server - Not Booting

Hello, I know it's been almost 3 years since this post had it's last comment, but I've had the exact same issue:

When I booted, the RAID controller hung at the "Initialiazing" stage

Now, I get a self-check failure on my controller

What did you end up doing to fix this? My drives are all healthy, but when I removed the cache module, I got a different set of errors?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
