HP DL380 G7 / Smart Array P410i Error

Hi,

HP DL380G7 basic model comes with an integrated Smart Array P410i SAS controller. I decided to buy a 512 MB memory card (PN 534916-B21)
But if server is switched on, the Smart Array P410i displays "Alert" and the cache for Smartarray P410i in embedded slot is not configured. How to resolve?

hello,
probably you need set read/write ratio for you P410i. DO you have OS installed? Try use ACU - array configuration utility form you os and check options there.
