HP DL380 g8 and SAS HBA h241 compatibility

HP DL380 g8 and SAS HBA h241 compatibility

Hello. We have two different servers (DL380 g8 and g9). SAS HBA H241 is installed in g9. Will the same HBA work in g8 server? g8 servers are not listed in compatibility list for H241, so i'd like to know are these lists mandatory?

Will it work? Probably.
