HP DL380p Gen8
Hello folks,
i've updated my HP DL380p Gen8 Server with the news Service Pack for Pro Liant (SPP) 201704. But the System ROM kept on version "P70 07/01/2015". Also the system ROM Bootblock kept his version on 03/05/2013.
So, does SPP include every update for the serves or are there any hardware devices that are skipped?

Re: HP DL380p Gen8
"P70 07/01/2015" is the latest released version of System ROM listed for that server

Re: HP DL380p Gen8
Hello Jimmy,
thanks for your answer. But where do you know this from? Where ist this statement about the latest version?
Furthermore, i've found a critical SAS Disk Enclosure ROM Flash version here:
Is this firmware also included in SPP?

Re: HP DL380p Gen8
1) It is the version included on the latest released SPP 'hp-firmware-system-p70-2015.07.01-1.1.i386.rpm'
3) Yes it is 'hp-firmware-smartarray-d6000-2.98-1.1.x86_64.rpm'

The RPM you are referencing is for the D6000, the page you refer to is for the DL380 System ROM
The SPP hpsum program uses RPM based files, both fles I mentioned are included in the 2017.04 SPP image
