HP DL385 and SA6400 card
Hey guys,
I have a DL385 G1, it comes with an imbedded 6i controller, I have recently added a pci-x 133 SA6400 RAID Controller in a free PCI slot, the problem is the server does not see the newly installed card, in the Bios the PCI devices does not show the new RAID controller that I have just installed.
any Thoughts?
Thanks

Re: HP DL385 and SA6400 card
Hi,
SA6400 is very much supported on dl385 server.
You could try few steps here:
- take out the card and then update the system BIOS.
- Clear the NVRAM
- Put the Card in another Slot.
- Reboot the server and inspect during POST.
Please share the outcome of these steps.
How to say Thanks.. Click on Star Kudos
thanks,
Aftab
