HP Embedded SATA RAID Controller

How is possible to configure and use on Proliant
ML310G5p Server, with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Foundation Edition.

I can't install the OS with the Array configured as Raid 0 (two 250Gb disk).

Do I need some drive ??

You should be able to access the raid controller during boot up or boot from the smartstart CD and use ACU. Create a raid1 logical disk.

I don't think that ACU supports the embedded raid controller.

Also you probably need to load a driver disk at install time. But since there is no 2008 driver to be found on the HP website I doubt that this will work. Try 2003 there is a sata driver for 2003.
