HP G7 DL360 - Low Virtual Memory Warning

Dear all,

I have one server (HP G7 DL360) running on Windows 2003 R2 64 bits, and the problem i faced is that it hit low virtual memory warning with not much processes running.

Is it due to paging file size problem or some other related hardware issues? thanks

Hi, I would guess that's what it means yes.

How large is your page file and how much RAM do you have?

Most of them have 8GB of ram

The page file is using "system decide" but I think it's 8GB at most, should be smaller.

One concern of having a very big page file is after our server hardening, the shutdown sequence will wipe the whole page file, which will take super long. Anyway to counter that as well? thanks
