HP GEN8 DL360P Memory Not Working - I dont understand

Hi,

I am buyed to 6 per 4RX4 32GB Memory. I dont working HP DL360P G8 server.

Scenario;
6X32GB Memory bios showing total capacity no problem but boot screen 184GB  (Bios screen 192GB no problem)

4X32GB Memory bios showing total capacity no problem but boot screen 120GB (Bios screen 128GB no problem)

2X32GB Memory bios showing total capacity no problem but boot screen 56GB (Bios screen 64GB no problem)

6X32GB + 18X16GB 12800R Memory bios showing total capacity no problem but boot screen 240GB ILO administration panel showing 32GB memorys "Present, Unused" 

24X16GB Ram installed total capasity bios and boot screen not problem 384GB

 

 

 

How to solve problems

hello

the memory should be equal between the cpus

i attached a 6 x 32 GB installation diagram for you to test - it should work normally

also set up the memory in the bios to Advanced ECC memory configuration instead of Mirrored memory configuration( i think it is but just to make sure)

you can show up the boot and bios difference if it happens please

Good Day !!!!

 I would suggest you follow the DL360p Gen8 quick space before upgrade any components because it will help you check the dependency of other components.

Follow the page no 33 & 39 for supported HP memory with this server.

Follow page no 63 for memory population information.
