HP IP CONSOLE SWITCH G2 and Avocent adapters

Dear,

 

 

We bought a new HP IP CONSOLE SWITCH G2 2X1EX16 and it works fine with the HP PS2 Adapters  MPN:520-290-510 but is it also possible to work with the older avocent ps2 adapters MPN:520-306-507 or avocent MPN:520-422-503 usb adapter?

Physical there is no difference between the adapters.
