HP IP Console Switch and Windows 2008 server
We have the Problem, that we don't have a mouse cursor on the Windows 2008 servers with our KVM IP Console Switch 1x1x16.
The firmware are actual 03.00.13 and the adapters 03.00.06
All other OS works without a problem, only 2008 we don't have a Mousecursor.
Any suggestions?
Regards

Re: HP IP Console Switch and Windows 2008 server
So it must be the combination of both.

Re: HP IP Console Switch and Windows 2008 server
I recommend you
- update system ROM
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=4022&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-1294584eb1464f4bbb3ce8b1fe
- update ilo firmware
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=4022&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-9cc2b23f1d184c6ba276a28cf3
and last step update drivers related with ilo
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=4022&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-fe4a01b884294f39a37d2fa74c
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=1121516&prodNameId=3288134&swEnvOID=4022&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-af544d95fcb442279651d8b638
why almost all look ilo information
since for Dl160 G5 as I told you it is a issue with Lights out
so you can try those steps
try and let us know
bye

Re: HP IP Console Switch and Windows 2008 server
We don't use the ILO, we have this problem with the KVM IP Switch.
