HP Insight Foundation Agents Will not Start

I have just updated the HP Insight Foundation Agents to version 8.3.

But the service will not start, I receive this error in the event log.

Source: Service Control Manager Event ID: 7003

The HP Insight Foundation Agents service depends on the following nonexistent service: CqMgStor

Help Please.

Yes, there are dependencies. You should always use the PSP for updates/upgrades because it will take care of that.

I used the HP Firmware Maintenance CD Release 8.70 to add the latest version I thought that would suffice.

Would it be best to un-install the HP Insight Foundation Agents version 8.3 and put it back to the earlier version, and the run PSP?

what worked for me: control panel, un-install HP management agents, then re-install. then the service started. out of 350 servers, only 1 or 2 failed.

Thanks, un-installing through control panel, and then installing with PSP worked.
