HP ML110 G3 new hard drives

Hello,

 

befor I go out and buy these wold  500GB Seagate ST3500418AS Barracuda 7200.12, SATA 3Gb/s, 7200rpm, 16MB Cache, 9.5ms, NCQ

 

be fine in the server??

 

Also how do I go about rebuilding the RAID and installing SBS 2003 with out any disk for the OS?

Is your ML110 G3 the SATA model? There is a SCSI model as well.
In the quickspecs it also says that the 500GB disk is "FIO" only - factory integrated only. I wonder why.
But the disk _should_ work. But it's hard to tell, maybe they did something special to make the 500GB work?

Also, what do you mean with "with out any disk for the OS?" ?
Is that the Windows disk? I suppose you need to buy it if you don't have it..
