HP ML115 G5 1610 Temperature Violation
Not sure why my server keeps telling me that I have a temperature violation, I have checked all the fans and they work without a problem.
One thing that I aren't sure of is the heatsink, one side of the heatsink which is towards the back of the unit, ishigher than the other side is that normal.
As I don't have another to compare it to
Thanks in advance
D

Re: HP ML115 G5 1610 Temperature Violation
Update the Lights-Out 100 Remote Management Firmware to Version 3.11 (or later) to resolve this issue:
Refer following customer advisory for more information:

Re: HP ML115 G5 1610 Temperature Violation
I've also had the same issue 610 Temperature Violation on my HP ML115 G5
and the heat sink was also at an odd angle
The Heat sink should be flush to the CPU chip
It looks like the plastic bits on the heat sink (that screws down) occasionally snap off
- a bit of a design flaw in my opinion
