HP ML150 G6 - Unable to install Windows Server 2008 R2 or 2012 on HP P410 RAID controller

Yes, I am using the Easy Setup CD, I get through the steps and when it calls for the Microsoft media I put it in the tray, wait 30 seconds and it spits it back out without a message.

 

I also tried installing manually, the CD tells me it loads the P410 driver but no devices are found.

 

Firmware was up to date, ran the firmware maintenance DVD and the machine is up-to-date.

Hi,

 

This server supports B110i and P410 controllers.

Just make sure the cabling is proper, the drive backplane is connected to P410.

Hello,
Sorry for the intrusion, using easy setup, think it must be from HP, did you choose the correct media ?
Unrecognized media spits it back and wait for correct media.
Starting from windows  one ML 150 machine you must have the correct driver from HP for addition at setup similar drivers from CD maybe give you no adapter.
