HP ML330G6 NOT DETECTING BAY 5 HDD

I have a HP ML330G6 server and have installed a second hd expansion cage. The backpane connects to a HP P400 controller.
However,upon bootup, the hdd's in the second hd expansion cage, i.e hd in bays 5-8, are not showing up in the Array Configuration Utility.
Please assit..

Are you using a P400 or P410?

Check that all Firmware and driver versions are the latest.

After upgrading the firmware and redoing the cable connections, it does pick it up.
