HP ML350 G3, will the powersupply be enought?
I have a HP ML350 G3 with two Xeon 2,8
6 x hotplug SCSI drives.
I would like to take out the CD to make room
for the Adaptec 2410SA Enclosure Kit S-ATA 150
and 4 x hitachi 500gb disk drives.

- My question, will the power supply in
my HP Ml350 G3 handle 4 disks more in the
S-ATA Array? How much does the power supply
handle, is this overkill?

Hi Miklas
Power supply of Server Enclosure is enough to take care of fully loaded configuration. So you mat install supported devices.

Mahesh

Re: HP ML350 G3, will the powersupply be enought?
Hi,
As per your post. there will not be any Hp doccument which will state that is going to work fine. But it will work without issues. Only concern lies is that is the product we going to use is compatible with our HP server.

My suggestion go through the quickspecs and extention capabalities. But as per your original post yes we can use it. but product is not tested so doccument to state it functionating on this server.
Hope it helps you.
Regards,
Prashant S.
