Is the dvd drive a read only or a read write drive and can i put a read/write drive inplace of it if it is a read only

also will the machine support bluray drives

NOTE: Please note that some of the earlier BTO models may not support adding SATA Optical Drives.
To ensure compatibility of the SATA Optical Drives, please add additional optical drives only on models with Quad-Core 5400 Series processors.

thanks for that put a rw drive in worked just fine backup was very successful
