HP ML350 G6 SAS Expander Card

Hello,

we have a HP Prolaint ML350 G6 Server with the Product Number 487931-421 and we will install a HP SAS Expander Card with the Product Number 468406-B21.

I have read in the documentation:

"Connect the Port 8c with the Controller Port 1 and the Port 9c with the Controller Port 2"

My question is now must I connect the Port 8c and 9c from the SAS Expander Card with the Onboard Controller?
