HP ML350 wants to only boot from new array

Hello,

I had 3 hard drives in a RAID 5 array with the logical drive that was booted from on them. I have since added two new drives and set them up as a Raid 1+0 array with a new logical drive. Somehow, the new array becomes array A and the old array becomes B, so when trying to boot, it looks the the new logical drive and obviously fails. Using the HP array configuration software or pressing F8 after the SCSI controller has started up to enter the array config utility don't show any logical ways of swapping the arrays around. What am I missing?

Thanks!

Should have read old thread first! The solution is to either reorder the drives physically in the machine, or to swap the SCSI cables to switch Array A and B.

Try the bios setup (RBSU) and look in the boot order settings

There are some differences in the bios, you did not say which G your server is.
