Re: HP Mangement Port number
I'm sure hp hasn't released any server named Proliant ML380 & DL370 that should be DL380 & ML370 servers.
The 2nd digit in the server name is used to identify whether it is a Tower Shape Proliant Server OR a Rack Mounable Server (DL=Density Line)
ML=Maximized Line= Tower= ML110, ML150, ML310, ML350, ML370, ML570 etc
DL=Density Line= Rack Mount= DL140, DL320, DL380 etc
That should clarify the scenario
The port is https://serverip/login.htm

Re: HP Mangement Port number
iLO ports
22
23
80
443
3389
17988
9300
17990
3002
The only problem I've had with openeing these ports in a FW is the the "Integrated Remote Console" function uses a random port once the connection is made, so it doesn't work. The Java based Remote Console works OK.
The ports are shown under the administration tab of the iLO interface.

Re: HP Mangement Port number
For me, I've only had to allow telnet (port 23) when I get locked out of the remote console and need to "acquire" it. Apparently that happens over the telnet port.
The other ports that another reply mentions are used for RDP pass through, SNMP, etc. so if you use those features, open up those ports, and if not, keep those ports closed off for security.
