HP Network Team and VMWare network team
I have an esx installation (5.1) and stand-alone proliant servers. I have teamed the NIC(s) on my ESX host per the following document:
It specifies load blance be set to src-dst-ip.
Will that work for the HP team on teh stand alone servers if set to Auto/Auto and LACP running on the Cisco 6500?
This document seems to suggest src-mac is the right load balance for HP.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk389/tk213/technologies_configuration_example09186a008089a821.shtml
How are people handlign the difference in suggested load-balance?
