HP Network Utility - Unable to remove binding to Intel Pro/1000MT NIC

I am unable to deselect/unbind a Intel Pro/1000MT nic from the "HP Network Configuration Utility"

The HP NCU is working fine for a Fast Ethernet Team.
It is however giving me problems on the Pro1000 nic. The nic is not receiving any packets.

I have removed and reinstalled the HP NCU, and it keeps grabbing the Pro1000 nic. On an other server I have the same configuration but the HP NCU is not selected as a protocol for the Pro/1000 nic and it is working fine. Which makes me believe that the reason it is not receiving packets is because it is bound to the HP NCA. On the properties of the Pro/1000 the HP NCA is selected and greyed out, and I can not deselect it.
On the Advanced Settings of the "Network and Dial-ip connections" the binding is deselected.
The Pro/1000 does not show up as an available nic on the HP Network Configuration Utility Properties window.

Does anybody have any idea how I can remove the binding?

Thanks

Jack
