Hi, good afternoon.
I have this controller installed on an ML110 G9 with 8 x 10TB on RAID5. The controller has battery for the cache, and the free space in the set is 27TB of a total of 70TB or so.
Why don't I get the option to migrate to RAID6?
Thank you!

Re: HP P440 4GB migrate from RAID 5 to RAID 6
@DeepakJajware Hi, good afternoon. Thank you for your answer.
I think the controller you're indicating is the one with the server built in, which is a software controller. In the post I indicated that it is the HP P440 4GB controller with RAID 6 support.

Re: HP P440 4GB migrate from RAID 5 to RAID 6
Hello Robert
Thank you for your swift resposne.
The controller does support RAID 6 but the architecutre and storage protocols of ML110 Gen9 Server will not allow RAID 6 configuration irrespective of the controller being used.
Do let me know if I answered your query or if I am missing something here.
Thank you

Re: HP P440 4GB migrate from RAID 5 to RAID 6
Ah, so it's a surprise for me not to be able to make a RAID 6. Thanks for answering again. Greetings!

Hello, good evening.
You were telling me that a RAID6 could not be performed on an HP P440 4GB controller installed on an ML110 G9 server.
