Re: HP PROLIANT ML310E GEN8 V2
Hi, that is normal if you have a RAID1 configured of the two disks.

Re: HP PROLIANT ML310E GEN8 V2
Might not be possible.
If you want to use the whole space of both disks you can delete the array and logical volume (and lose data) and create a RAID0 array. Do this from the HP ACU / SSA. Often it is a good idea to have a RAID1 - you lose half of available space but a hard drive can fail and you don't have to reinstall the server..

Re: HP PROLIANT ML310E GEN8 V2
If you haven't installed the OS yet, or have any data you need to keep you can wipe out the configuration. Since you're not interested in RAID, go into RBSU and change the controller mode from B120i RAID to SATA AHCI. When you install Windows it will see 2 drives.
As Johan stated, if the system is already in operation, you can't get rid of the RAID 1 configuration without data loss

Re: HP PROLIANT ML310E GEN8 V2
In the initial post HAFSASAMAC wrote that they only see one disk in the OS.
Is it possible to change to AHCI without reinstalling Windows?

Re: HP PROLIANT ML310E GEN8 V2
Maybe, but I can't say that I've tried to switch one to see what happens. His info isn't real clear on if they only saw one disk when trying to install Windows, or one disk with Windows up and running

I WANT THAT THE SECOND HDD BECOME THE MIRROR OF THE FIRST.

Did you configure a RAID Array? When you have configured a RAID 1 mirror, the OS will only see one disk which it sounds like the state that you have. What we offered was a way to not have a mirror so you could see both drives individually.
