Hi everyone,
Our client have 6 HP DL3xx servers rack connected to R3000 XR UPS over 6-port card. Some have W2k some have W2k03. When power input fails W2k shuts down properly and display message "now it is safe to shut down your computer" and W2k03 shuts down completely. Then UPS shuts down zones and electricity output is gone. When power is restored UPS turn on zones and amber appears on all servers. Then w2k servers powers on and everyting is fine but Windows 2003 wont power on! It just stands with amber on and nothing happens. No matter to what port on 6-port card is connected it is allways W2k03 in question. It is not matter of settings 'cause i tried all options.
I know officialy only 3 ports on 6-port card are supported for full funcionality but W2k servers connected to non-supported ports are doing just fine and moreover same thing happend again with another client. They have only one ML370 connected to R3000 XR over basic single port communication card.
Any ideas 'cause we are out of... tried everything..
Thank you
Srdjan
