HP Pro Liant DL380 G5- repeated failure with Powwer Supply 1

ProLiant Dl380 G5
Events: Power Supply1 fails, event in ilo recorded

Power supply 1 back online after some minutes
Event reoccur every some hours:

System Information Agent: Health: The Fault Tolerant Power Supply Sub-system is
in a failed state. Restore power or replace the failed power supply.
Chassis: '0'; Bay: '1'
[SNMP TRAP: 6050 in CPQHLTH.MIB]
System Information Agent: Health: The Fault Tolerant Power Supply Sub-system has
lost redundancy. Restore power or replace any failed or missing power supplies
.
Chassis: '0'
[SNMP TRAP: 6032 in CPQHLTH.MIB]

Actions taken before:
Power supply 1 has already been replaced two weeks ago. Error reocured last week 3 times.
On advise of HP Support: Latest Firmware and PSP was applied last week. Power supply backplane has been replaced.

No success, failure still ocuring

hmmm Thomas
remove power supply if you you see any thin black marks on the connector part of the power supply or on the edges of the power supply backplane replace both at the same time as the connection is arcing,
this is not unusual and both need to be changed at same time , and do not use old power supply in this again.

I had thse too, there is a faulty power backplane (where PSUs connect). If that does not help --> new mainboard.

Hello,
thank you for your responses.
Power supply Backplane hds already been changed last week w/o success.
We give it a 2nd try with a new power supply. If this does not help, we will have to change the system board.
