HP ProLiant DL180 G6 with HP SmartArray P212 raid controller
Hello,
I have a HP ProLiant DL180 G6 with HP SmartArray P212 raid controller.
I can't make it work toggether
RAID controller doesn't show up in BIOS boot menu.
On booting up the server it just offers network boot and that's all
On booting up there is no message like "Press F8 to enter HP SmartArray P212 array configuration"
I get the latest bios for HP ProLiant DL180 G6, but it doesn't help.
Also after rebooting the machine, I'm getting this message:
>> Detect a Unsame SDRR/Configuration Image in Current BIOS
>> BMC SDRR Version : 2.17.1.204 --> 2.17.1.202
>> Loading updated SDRR/CONFIGURATION to BMC -- DO NOT POWER OFF
>> Erasing Sectors Done!
>> Uploading SDRR: 100%
>> Uploading Configuration: 100%
>> Update SDRR/Configuration Image successfully
>> Resetting BMC....
And after next reboot i get almost same message but with:
>> BMC SDRR Version : 2.17.1.202 --> 2.17.1.204
Seems it downgrades the "BMC SDRR", resets the BMC, updates it again to the previous version and so on.
Why does it may happen?
I tried to connect HP SmartArray P212 to desktop with Windows 7 and it works just fine.
Thanks.
